What Happens When I Visit? |
| |
 First you will need to have an Initial Consultation. When you arrive, our Chiropractic Assistants will ask you to complete some paperwork on your health history. This is very detailed and will ask you to list your reason for consulting the clinic, your general health history to-date, including any illnesses or injuries you have experienced and your lifestyle choices such as diet, exercise, habits and levels of stress. Our Chiropractic Assistants will be happy to help you if you have any questions or concerns. |
| Once your paperwork is completed, you will be shown into an examination room where you will meet the Chiropractor, who will go through your health history and ask you some additional questions to gain a full understanding of your current level of general health. |

You will then be shown to a private changing cubicle where you will be asked to change into an examination gown. |

| Your chiropractor will then take you through a comprehensive physical examination. |

Once completed the findings will be discussed with you and your options for care outlined. Each course of care is designed to meet your unique healthcare needs. If you have any question you are encouraged to ask them as it is important that you understand what has been explained to you.. |

| If there are no contraindications, and you agree to commence care, your chiropractor will then proceed with your first adjustment (which is the term used for chiropractic treatment). The techniques used may vary considerably based on your age and individual spinal health needs. You may even find that the techniques used will change as your spinal health improves. If you have questions at any time, please feel free to ask. |

Once your consultation is complete, you will return to our Reception area. Our Chiropractic Assistants will schedule your next adjustment at a time that is as convenient for you as possible. |

| Our office is open from 9:00am - 7:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 9:00am - 1:00pm on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 9:00am - 1:00pm. |

| You will be asked to settle your account at each visit unless prior arrangements have been made with your employer or insurance company. We accept cash, cheques with a valid guarantee card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Solo and Visa Electron payments. At Newport Chiropractic, we are constantly striving for excellence.
